The empowering third step is expressing our desires to the appropriate person or people. When making requests, it is important to focus on what we do want rather than what we don’t want. Surprisingly, this step is often overlooked when we find ourselves stuck in negativity, but it is the easiest thing to do. Once we make a habit of asking for what we want, we begin to see magical results in our lives.

The challenges of daily life, the pressure to do everything at lightning speed, betrayals, and disappointments create a melting pot of emotions that can drain our emotional energy. Emotional energy is what allows us to deal with our feelings constructively or creatively.
